Diddy Kong is DK's nephew, "little buddy", and his sidekick in the games. They are both apes however, so they can be related. There's no evidence that Diddy is DK's nephew in the video games. Maybe DK is Diddy's "uncle in arms" or something.{{User|SavedPrincess}}

::Just so we're clear, the current edit doesn't remove sources indicating that Diddy is DK's nephew or try to deny that it happened at a certain point or two, but when it's got just enough (if not more) sources contradicting the notion or finding it inconclusive, then it should probably be cleaned up and left in a less broad section of the article rather than scattered around pretending to be a defining attribute. I honestly think this page is lacking a lot of images here. Take for example the ''[[Donkey Kong Country (series)|DKC]]'' section which do not even show ''screenshots'', which in some instances, show more of the character than their official artwork. I'm tempted to place a More images template on this because I feel it needs it.
