Alright, so I'm busy creating an article for Deku Baba, as a proposal from a while ago agreed that ''Zelda''-related elements in the [[Hyrule Circuit]] stage can have an article. On [https://triforcewiki.com/wiki/Deku_Baba Triforce Wiki], it lists several variants and even a notable member (Diababa), and another relative besides Manhandla (Deku Like). Seeing as Deku Baba is comparable to Piranha Plant, would we make mention of all entities related to Deku Baba on its article or would that be too much of a stretch? I'd be in favor of listing them personally, but several here probably would not like that (unless possibly at the bare minimum, including interwiki links to ZW of all of the Deku Baba variants/relative/notable member in the species infobox). :Since this is a distinctly ''Zelda'' subject, I think we can cut it down to the ''Mario''-derived subjects (including Piranha Plant-based Manhandla, which it strongly resembles). They even have a separate origin according to Miyamoto - although, now that I think about it, couldn't the "dog" mentioned in [https://www.ign.com/articles/1997/12/03/the-z-files-2 that interview] be Chain Chomp or its basis? The interview has some strange translation choices, and lunging behavior is exceptionally similar to usual Chain Chomps rather than most Piranha Plants, being stopped by its stem instead of a chain. In that regard, Chain Chomp could be added as a comparable subject next to Piranha Plant. I personally think the clam inspiration is too vague in its design to add to the infobox. But to get back to the original question, yes, I'm leaning towards leaving them out, at least until a definite Piranha Plant connection can be confirmed.
