I think it is silly to use an internal filename as a "proof" that something is named what it isn't. Such as it is said that because of the internal filename, PukupukuGambolPlanet is called Cheep Cheep Gambol Plante, and TeresaRoomPlanet's english name is Boo Room Planet. ::This is better. What are the Prima mentions? -- 04:56, 28 February 2019 (EST)
:::For the former: "Mario rides the bubble to a small planetoid in the heavens over Deep Dark. Several Cheep Cheeps bounce around the shallow water, so watch out for their flying flippers. Three wooden pegs are on the planetoid. Ground pound all of them to activate the bubble cannon." (262) For the latter: "There is a strange cube in orbit around Deep Dark Galaxy's main planet. What could possibly be inside of it? The more pressing question, though, is how will Mario even reach the cube to investigate?" (265) Bottom caption: "Use the Launch Star to blast out of the lake and to the mysterious cube in the sky above." It's still called a "cube" on this page and the next except in this line: "The switch flips so Mario "falls" to the chamber's ceiling." ==Planet names==
According to MarioWiki:Naming:

A specific rule applies to the planets in Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel. The planets don't have official names, but conjectural names are given to them by our users to help identify each planet.

And most of the other galaxies have conjectural names for the planets, so we should really rename these ones for consistency. 12:16, July 3, 2019 (EDT)
:I'm not sure what exactly you are asking to do since we've already been using Prima and the filenames to mitigate use of the conjectural names of the planets. LinkTheLefty (talk) 13:00, July 3, 2019 (EDT)
::In layman's terms the priority is internal file name first, conjecture second. Trig - 14:54, July 3, 2019 (EDT)
:::It's mostly inconsistent because I had done it for some articles such as Beach Bowl Galaxy, Space Junk Galaxy, Matter Splatter Galaxy, Ghostly Galaxy, etc but I just didn't do the rest. You can get these names by extracting the levels from the Super Mario Galaxy 1/2 ISO and using WhiteHole to look at them and find the planets. 14:58, July 3, 2019 (EDT)
Renaming planets
So I noticed that for this galaxy (and a few others as well), people have been putting in the file names for each planet instead of making conjectural names. The Mariowiki Naming guide SPECIFICALLY mentions the Galaxy games, saying that conjectural names would be used for the planets. Another problem is that using the file names makes it very confusing and kind of alienating to users. If someone sees the name of a planet, they should be able to easily figure out what planet it's referring to or get an idea of what the planet is, but that's currently not the case. For example, if someone saw the "Pukupuku Gambol Planet", nobody would know what planet it's referring to or have any idea of what the planet is. Most people wouldn't even know what the words "pukupuku" or "gambol" mean. The same is true for most other filenames. Most people don't know that "Teresa" is the name for Boo in Japanese, everyone will be confused by the random "E" in Relay Planet E. This is also true for other galaxies. Ghostly Galaxy's filenames aren't nearly as bad, but one in particular is called the "Star Peace Shooter Planet". It has Star Piece misspelled, and it doesn't really have anything to do with star pieces. We should almost definitely go back to having conjectural names, at least for planets where the filenames don't make sense.
