I have created this page as part of my Trouble Center project. It is now complete. ~ Lordkenny
I have created this page as part of my Trouble Center project. Please do not touch until the construction template is removed. ~ Lordkenny

:Heh, redundant name. Say, are you putting the SPM templates on pages? TheGreatBlockyBoo 11:28, 5 May 2007 (EDT)

:: Ok, thats not Tippi's discription... Thats the card discription... and we don't even have Tippi's discription. Why did we put up the template if its imcomplete? And the article looked much more professinal before it was put there... >_> Can't I just do my Trouble Center? Just because I'm new dosn't mean I don't know what I'm doing... ~LordKenny
:: Nevermind, the templates fixed. ~Lord Kenny

Would it be okay to list this as a variant of Boo instead of Dark Boo? The reason it's called Dark Dark Boo instead of Dark Boo is because Dark Boos are already a thing in the game, after all. Blinker (talk) 17:09, January 17, 2024 (EST)
:From what I gather, they use the flip to sneak up on you, which normal Boo doesn't but Dark Boo does. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 17:11, January 17, 2024 (EST)
::That's true, but it seems the Flopside "Dark" variants of enemies sometimes(?) have the attack patterns of harder versions of those enemies. That was an overly long sentence. Here's an example: Dark Squiglets spit projectiles despite regular Squiglets not doing so. There's also the Dark Cherbil, which acts as a mix of all three normal Cherbil types, and Dark Pokey, which can inflict poison like Poison Pokeys. Blinker (talk) 17:21, January 17, 2024 (EST)
:::I think it would be a bit confusing if we were to say it's a variant of the standard Boo when this behaves like Dark Boos instead of standard Boos and the name follows Dark Boo. 17:28, January 17, 2024 (EST)
::::If it's worth noting, the Japanese name (カゲテレサ, Kage Teresa) follows from the standard Boo and not Dark Boo (ダークテレサ, Dāku Teresa). SolemnStormcloud (talk) 17:40, January 17, 2024 (EST)
:::::I agree that it IS confusing. Is that so much of a problem though? It's not like it would be the wiki introducing the confusion, the confusion was already there the moment the translators made the choice to use the name "Dark Dark Boo". I don't think they put that much thought into it, mind you. The name solves the problem of having two enemies with the same name, and it makes enough sense in context. The details of which enemy this enemy is a "variant" of doesn't really matter that much to the player anyway. Blinker (talk) 17:47, January 17, 2024 (EST)
