"Their Japanese name implies that they are shyer than the normal Boos, and, thus, may not be the same enemy." So why are we treating them as such? I'm neutral on the issue right now, but I'd like to see if this is worth splitting. {{User:Scrooge200/sig}} 15:31, August 25, 2020 (EDT)
:I lean towards keeping it as-is for similar reasons as [[Talk:Mrs. Thwomp|this]] (I've mentioned the [https://legendsoflocalization.com/fat-beauty-and-a-link-between-worlds-localization “transcreation”] concept a few times, which we recently found out [[tcrf:Prerelease:Super Mario World (SNES)/Background Graphics and Tilemaps#Enemy Cast List|even happened with Fishin' Boo]]). That said, it's not the exact same palette - Dark Boos have blue tongues in ''The Thousand-Year Door'' and red tongues in ''Partners in Time''.
