The Walking Trees (previously known as Moving Trees and currently known as Walking Trees because the guide calls them that) were merged because apparently they're not notable enough. This is to say nothing of the other Mario Kart obstacles that weren't merged, like Bomb-Car, Mushroom Car, and Wiggler Bus, apparently these trees are especially unimportant despite serving as obstacles just like the rest of them. With the current proposal to delete Pit Plant failing and the current proposal to split Bouncing Note in full swing, this proposal is coming hot on their heels. If you're going to quibble about it not having enough appearances, then it's appeared in both Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart 7, which is more than the above Car and Bus, and there are many, many, many subjects that have only made one appearance. To put it frankly, the Walking Trees are officially named entities with unique appearances that interact uniquely with players, and saying that the Mario Kart series is somehow undeserving of having individual articles for its enemies goes against literally every other standard for every other series. Are you seriously going to tell me that Mario's Time Machine deserves to be covered to a deeper extent than the Mario Kart series? | The Walking Trees (previously known as Moving Trees and currently known as Walking Trees because the guide calls them that) were merged because apparently they're not notable enough.
