| ::I did some digging, and I have been unable to find any official Japanese sources that actually list Jungle Climber as a King of Swing sequel; KoS is seemingly not mentioned in the official Jungle Climber website (though the text is all images so I can't check in google translate or DeepL), nor any online press releases. What I did find, though, is a Japanese blog post where the author comments on how Nintendo is pushing Donkey Kong Jungle Climber as a "brand new game" while ignoring King of Swing, speculating that it might be an attempt to distance Jungle Climber from DK: King of Swing due to the latter's poor sales. If Nintendo never acknowledged the two being connected, then I think it would be safe to assume that this is not a series. | ::::That's the English working title, though, which doesn't really matter for the purposes of this discussion. Though, after you mentioned that, I checked to see if it was true in Japanese, and I found this document that does refer to it as ぶらぶらドンキーDS(仮称) (Burabura Donkey DS (Temporary)). So... I guess it would be a little weird to separate them now. I still think the label "DK series" reeks of conjecture, though. | Personally, I think this page might need a renaming as well. Not only is it unclear and generic (as "DK" is a very common abbreviation for Donkey Kong, which doesn't at all reflect what makes it so different from other DK series), but also doesn't really reflect international releases for DK: Jungle Climber, as in Europe, that game is called <u>Donkey Kong</u>: Jungle Climber, just like in Japan. In such a case, I think I'd rather have the series named after the first title, DK: King of Swing, instead of the one all-too-common term that's shared across the two titles in America and Australia. I should mention that our article for the Mario baseball games is also called Mario Baseball (series), when there's not a single mention of "baseball" in the title of Mario Super Sluggers, so it's not like there's a hard rule that the games in a series should have a title that must reflect with all the titles in said series.<br>(side note, I also think that the Mario & Sonic (series) should be named Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (series), since literally all the games so far take place at the Olympic Games, and always have "at the Olympic Games" somewhere in their titles. Just Mario & Sonic implies there's more crossovers between the two series outside of the Olympics, which isn't the case; and this title has clearly been chosen for the sake of brevity rather than accuracy, much like a certain old psychic lady prior to a proposal) 13:06, September 14, 2024 (EDT)

| :It looks like a game and a follow-up, not really at a point where I'd call this a series. It was like the time Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon arose and I was like "nah, this isn't a series right now". Why don't we have a series page on Itadaki Street DS and Fortune Street (called Itadaki Street Wii in Japan) called Itadaki Street series (like in the opening sentence of the article of Itadaki Street; there has been other Itadaki Street games). 15:08, September 14, 2024 (EDT)

| ::We do have more articles of series only encompassing of two titles, such as the aforementioned Mario Baseball (series), as well as Mario Teaches Typing (series) and Famicom Grand Prix (series). Would you want to nuke all of those as well? 16:00, September 14, 2024 (EDT)
