::I did some digging, and I have been unable to find any official Japanese sources that actually list ''Jungle Climber'' as a ''King of Swing'' sequel; KoS is seemingly not mentioned in the official ''Jungle Climber'' website (though the text is all images so I can't check in google translate or DeepL), nor any online press releases. What I did find, though, is a [https://ameblo.jp/sinobi/entry-10041638115.html Japanese blog post] where the author comments on how Nintendo is pushing ''Donkey Kong Jungle Climber'' as a "brand new game" while ignoring ''King of Swing'', speculating that it might be an attempt to distance ''Jungle Climber'' from ''DK: King of Swing'' due to the latter's poor sales. If Nintendo never acknowledged the two being connected, then I think it would be safe to assume that this is not a series. ::::That's the English | ::::That's the English title, though, which doesn't really matter for the purposes of this discussion. Though, after you mentioned that, I checked to see if it was true in Japanese, and I found [https://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/pdf/2007/070427.pdf this document] that does refer to it as ぶらぶらドンキーDS(仮称) (''Burabura Donkey DS (Temporary)''). So... I guess it would be a little weird to separate them now. I still think the label "''DK'' series" reeks of conjecture, though.
