== Merge ==
I brought this up on the forums a while back and then promptly forgot about it, but I might as well pose this question on the wiki proper: is there anything distinguishing Clampy from Clam? Clampies trap players in NSMBW, unlike regular Clams but in SM64/SM64DS, they're just props, which are exactly like regular Clams. Would anyone object to a merge? {{User:Time Turner/sig}}

:Sorry for the delayed response. Both [[Clam]] and [[Clampy]] ''already'' share information on SM64 and NSMBW. Clamby may be redirected to Clamb after the information has been properly merged and all links updated.

:::They're different enemies: [[Clam]]s [[Clampy]]s. Sure Clams look the same as Clampys in Super Mario Galaxy [[Super Mario Galaxy 1|1]] and [[Super Mario Galaxy 2|2]] but that really doesn't warrant a merge to me and besides in [[Super Mario 64]] and [[Super Mario 64 DS|it's DS remake]] they basically look like real life Clams so no merge. {{User:Fawful's Minion/sig}} 18:11, 10 July 2016 (EDT)

In SM64, you can get hurt from touching a clam from the sides, but in NSMBWii, you can touch them from the sides without harm.
