:::::It's called many things.  First, it's vocal effects combined with voice manipulation.  VAs voice animals ([http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Winslow and other things]) all the time (for example, [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KGDKtg5pxA#t=1m28s Frank Welker once voiced a bear]) - combine this with a little editing and you'll have the exact same scenario as the MK64 DK voice.  Second, it's a budget-friendly option.  Why go through the trouble of recording a real ape when you can get someone to simulate it and get really close to that type of sound?  The aforementioned editing helps here, too.  Third, and most importantly, it's called a '''fact'''.  It's written on Martinet's site and there is no evidence that contradicts this.  What you are using is called an "'''opinion'''" and it's quite the opposite of a fact because your contradictory statements, with no direct evidence to back them up, are as good as a bent arrow.  Unless you can find official proof that undoubtedly contradicts mine and isn't based solely on your own conceptions, shut your mouth.  Also, don't let that one previous offense with Strong corrupt all your future judgments: it's called an exception, not a standard. I've seen the claim that the stock laugh sound effect for Bowser and Boo ("Sound Ideas, HUMAN, LAUGH - COMICAL LAUGH: MALE") was actually voiced by Charles Martinet, and it's repeated here on Super Mario Wiki. Currently, this article cites Thomas Game Docs' video, which in turn cites the Sound Effects Wiki... which doesn't cite any particular source. Every other time this claim is made, its citations ultimately lead back to the Sound Effects Wiki, or no citation is provided at all. While I think it's absolutely plausible that the laugh was recorded by Martinet, I think we should be citing a primary source, not a secondary source like Thomas Game Docs or Sound Effects Wiki. Does anyone know the actual direct source of this information? Again, I have to ask if there is any primary source that confirms the "Comical Laugh: Male is Charles Martinet" claim. ::I took it upon myself to reach out to the Sound Effects Wiki and ask General Maho (the bureaucrat/administrator who originally created the "Sound Ideas, HUMAN, LAUGH - COMICAL LAUGH: MALE" article and wrote that it was performed by Charles Martinet) where this information originally came from. Unfortunately, they could not remember, so they agreed that it should not asserted as fact unless it could be verified. I've included a screenshot of this discussion to the right for record-keeping. It took quite a bit of prodding since Martinet was [https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/6efea8fa-aed3-4f91-ab5c-a248a418d83c/scale-to-width/755 initially unsure about it,] especially since [https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/7dc09d8f-6416-4c0a-be82-a2259789dc91/scale-to-width/755 he was struggling to remember whether he recorded this laugh over thirty years ago.] However, when given a link to the full Sound Ideas Library that the laugh comes from, [https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/37bd6e5a-96be-4f4d-8970-45c20095ebd8/scale-to-width/755 he said that he's "pretty sure that's me then" and also recognized other recorded sound effects.] Again, for record-keeping, I've included the screenshot of that email to the right.

Charles Martinet also had done the king of Bob-ombs in Mario 64, just to let everyone know, just like for the chain chomps, whomps, thwomps, more, and Big Boo too. I get you're probably and possibly gonna say or ask me if there's proof of it, but if you go back and listen to his voice in every game he's ever played in, I feel and felt like Charles Martinet himself in Super Mario 64 and other games had somewhere his voice was playing as King or the Big Bob-omb, unless of course their just a sound effect that have from the thwomps and whomps and grindels.

Okay I may have misspoken I don’t think it’s leaked information actually. Since several retailers have been selling the game early. But this source does NOT lie. It’s easy to narrow it down that it is him such as with how Waluigi sounds and how there is no new names in the credits aside from ones involving foreign announcers.
