How does the game determine the probability of a card capturing an enemy? What is the general range? Theyoshisaur (talk) 22:14, 18 January 2018 (EST)

Does anyone knows how much Catch Cards are in the overworld? the only one that I know is the one on Chapter 3-1. I think it would be great if we get the total number of blank catch cards to be found in the overworld. 201.95.219.111
Merging the list article
Now that my proposal to merge the list of Not-Bottomless Holes has passed, I want to discuss merging the list of Catch Cards here. While this article has more non-list content than Not-Bottomless Hole, it's still not very long, and like NBH, Catch Cards only appear in one game. The list is decently lengthy but not enough to overinflate this article. The combined size of the two articles is still only 75,144 bytes, not even enough to crack the top 200. Colorless spot, Assist Trophy, and especially Spirit (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate) are considerably larger. 22:18, June 9, 2021 (EDT)
:Yeah. I think I can go along with the merge. If there were no bestiary for SPM, I would have been more hesitant. But since there is, there isn't any "it being the sort of bestiary and should stay" argument, no matter how weak or strong it is. So, I support this idea due to there being one game with catch card. Just keep in mind that when you do this, that there will also be a change on the bestiary template that needs to be done to reflect the list being here. 17:05, June 10, 2021 (EDT)

Tippi's tattle
Tippi has a unique dialogue for Caught cards which you can find lying somewhere in the levels. It still needs to be added. 08:52, October 17, 2021 (EDT)
Player Cards in Card Shops
This article seems to insist that the Catch Cards for the Player Characters cannot be obtained in shops. This seems fairly suspect given my own experience with the game. I did see Mario's card for sale at Fondest Hopes once, a very long time ago. It's also important to note that I had not yet beaten Shadoo, so it's impossible that I could've obtained his card and have it appear in the listing to be sold back to me. Can anyone else corroborate that this childhood experience wasn't a fluke?--GameBoyTM101 (talk) 12:54, September 25, 2022 (EDT)

there is, as far as i can tell, no 3D hole beneath the star block at the end of 2-1 SnailofKale (talk) 14:30, April 22, 2024 (EDT)
:Trust me, there is. It's in the same area, maybe not directly under the star block, but there is a hole in the ground leading to the card.
::You just need to flip in that area and the hole is clear as day. 14:44, April 22, 2024 (EDT)
