For a time, this was listed as a Pokey derivative, but was later declassified due to lack of explicit proof. | For a time, this was listed as a Pokey derivative, but was later declassified due to lack of explicit proof.

:Yeah, these are clearly a Pokey variant imo. {{User:Niiue/sig}} 20:26, March 15, 2020 (EDT) | :Yeah, these are clearly a Pokey variant imo. {{User:Niiue/sig}} 20:26, March 15, 2020 (EDT)
::Bramball's internal filename in ''New Super Mario Bros. U'' at least is the final Japanese name, <tt>ibaramushi</tt>, with no sign of <tt>sanbo</tt> (Pokey) in texture files; however, both Bramball and Pokey share two textures called <tt>lm_01e</tt> (looks like a bright ball) and <tt>lm_02e</tt> (looks like a dark ball). I'm not sure if this is enough to consider Bramball a direct derivative of Pokey, but those are my findings so far.
