:Yeah, I thought Jailgoons were under Fawful's command? I'd thought maybe it were a leftover from [https://www.mariowiki.com/index.php?title=Bowser%27s_Minions&diff=prev&oldid=4429047 back when the page showed leaders that seized the clan], since Fawful ''did'' take control of the Koopa Troop, but Jailgoon seemed nowhere to be found prior to the rework, so maybe it was a mistake.<br>Not really sure about Dr. Topper though; can't really find any info about him willingly working for Smithy on the wiki pages, so might have to look for video footage. {{User:Arend/sig}} 17:23, January 4, 2025 (EST) | :Yeah, I thought Jailgoons were under Fawful's command? I'm of the opinion that Jailgoons, Sneeze Thwomps and Dr. Topper should be removed as they were never outright stated to be members and I'm on the fence about Big Troopas as their Monster List profile claims that they're members but this doesn't shot up in-game. :I just checked out the Japanese Monster List profile for Big Troopa, and it doesn't mention Bowser's Minions at all. In fact, it's completely different. It says 「おやつを食べていなくて体に力が入らない時、おやつの食べすぎで体が思うように動かない時、じたばたする。」, which apparently means "When it hasn't had a snack and its body is not as strong as it should be, or when it has had too many snacks and its body doesn't move as it should, it struggles." | :I just checked out the Japanese Monster List profile for Big Troopa, and it doesn't mention Bowser's Minions at all. It seems the localizers decided to rewrite the description for the usual reasons, and forgot to check where the enemy appears in the game. In other words, it's a mistake. I'd support removing Big Troopa from the list. [[User:Blinker|Blinker]] ([[User talk:Blinker|talk]]) 07:48, January 8, 2025 (EST) | ||
After considering the points here, I agree that Dr. Topper, and Sniffle Thwomps should be removed. I'm on the fence about Big Troopa, however. Yes I agree that the original Japanese version of the game seemingly doesn't mention them as part of the Minions, and that carries over to the gameplay as well, but that's still mentioned in the English localization, so it should probably be mentioned somewhere. Would mentioning this in the ''Super Mario RPG'' History section be an acceptable compromise? {{User:LadySophie17/sig}} 08:30, January 8, 2025 (EST) | After considering the points here, I agree that Dr. Topper, and Sniffle Thwomps should be removed.
