Ok, this has bugged me for a while. So back in 2013 this article was split from the main article under the assumption that Different Name + Different Game = 2 Different Things. While this may seem fine on paper, there are a lot of problems with it in reality:
* Since 2013, there have been not [[Mario Party: The Top 100|one,]] but [[Mario Party Superstars|two]] Party entries with 100 minigames from the past games, meaning that >100 minigames have appeared in multiple games.
* Even if we ignore those 2 Games, it's not like minigames didn't have multiple appearances before the 3DS(ex. [[Bumper Balls]], [[Face Lift]], [[Handcar Havoc]]).
* There are multi-appearance minigames with bigger [[Shy Guy Says|Visual]], [[Crazy Cutters|Gameplay]], and [[Beach Volley Folly|Naming]] Differences from there first appearance that we have merged.
* This isn't an instance of [[Flagging Rights]] where it's based on another minigame but still has a lot of differences, This game is practically identical except for which button you press(Which is itself a pretty bad argument, almost all the multi-appearance games have different button inputs).
* Even if we ignore everything above, the information on this page and Bowser's Big Blast is completely identical. It would be redundant to have 2 articles with the exact same information in them.

#{{User|Somethingone}} This article can be best compared to [[Beach Volley Folly]]. It appeared 4 times and on its 2nd appearance the name was changed a little bit but had minimal differences outside of the name. When it reappeared in later games, the name was reverted back showing that it was a 1-time name change and not a completely different minigame. Beach Volley Folly also had more Gameplay differences in MP5 than this minigame has with Bowser's Big Blast, and Beach Volley Folley is still merged.

#{{User|Tails777}} The more I think about it, the more I lean towards opposing. While yes, it plays identically and yes, it can easily qualify to follow the same rules as the returning MP1 mini-games in MP2, I still feel it's fine being split. Mario Party 4 does not acknowledge it as a returning mini-game, compared to the mini-games in The Top 100 and Superstars, and the title suggests it's more of a "sequel" mini-game (despite not really changing anything outside of how you push a pump down).

#{{User|Bazooka Mario}} They're treated as separate minigames and this does feel like a new iteration of the minigame, hence the "bigger" part of it, maybe to coincide with the updated graphics at the time as well as the more over-the-top presentation.

I'm on the fence about this one and not just because I was the original proposer. I can see the reasoning that Bowser's Bigger Blast really does feel like a reskin of the MP2 version and that's easily comparable to the multitude of MP1 mini-games that reappeared in MP2. However, I don't feel this game can easily be compared to the mini-games that reappeared in the Top 100/Superstars. Those returning mini-games are treated as their original versions, they aren't being treated as Top 100/Superstars mini-games. Bowser's Bigger Blast, while virtually identical to Bowser's Big Blast, is not being acknowledged as a Mario Party 2 mini-game reappearing in Mario Party 4. That being said, I'm not entirely sure if the MP1 mini-games in Mario Party 2 were acknowledged as returning mini-games or not back when Mario Party 2 released, which is why it's harder to make that argument. Part of me almost supports the idea of splitting Beach Volleyball from Beach Volley Folly for the more expanded options in gameplay. However, I can still agree with the idea that every single mini-game that was in MP1 and 2 are merged together and this one wouldn't be too far off from that, though that would raise the question on how to treat mini-games like Mario's Puzzle Party Pro or Panel Panic, both of which play identically to Mario's Puzzle Party and Panels of Doom respectively, yet have some slightly different rules to them and are treated, in game, as separate mini-games. That all being said, I'm still unsure as to where to put a vote; yes, every single time a mini-game reappeared, they are merged with their original appearances; MP2 mini-games, the puzzle mini-games that returned in DS and the Top 100/Superstar reappearances. However, at the same time, I feel it's not worth ignoring the fact that this, along with Beach Volleyball, are I believe the only two instances where the mini-games are not acknowledged as mini-games from the past. I don't recall Beach Volleyball being called a returning mini-game in MP5 and I don't believe this mini-game is being called a returning mini-game from MP2. I feel like the difference between Puzzle Party Pro/Panel Panic and this mini game is that those 2 are unlockable mini games and are treated as a bonus version of 2 mini games already in their games(Like with challenge booksquirm and goomba bowling), whereas this one is a normal mini game that appeared in a different game much like the other multi-appearance mini games. I honestly think puzzle party pro and panel panic should be merged too, given the other extended mini games I mentioned are also merged. In all honesty this situation just feels like a case of “do we want more or less articles?” given how many grey areas it has. ::Part of me would agree to that, but the main point that's holding me back from supporting is just the fact that, while clearly inspired and virtually identical, Mario Party 4 doesn't treat Bowser's Bigger Blast as a returning mini-game.
