| How are Boos part of the Koopa Troop? They might not directly help Bowser, but just attack Mario when he is in a ghost house or is in their territory. There isn't enough (or no) proof that Boos or its subspecies are part of Bowser's minions.{{User:Knife/sig}} | | How are Boos part of the Koopa Troop? | Dispite being most likely fan made, there was a poster saying "fight for the koopa troop" or something like that, showing boos come out of [[shells]]. I personally would chose a [[Dry Bones]] but hay. it may of been official, and should NOT be added to the wiki other tan here unless seen in game. The conclusion is, yes they are un-dead. | | Dispite being most likely fan made, there was a poster saying "fight for the koopa troop" or something like that, showing boos come out of [[shells]]. | Hmmm... i do remember that a quote in the Toad Town news in PM64 after completing chapter 3 mentioning the afterlife, i would say yes. --[[User:AnotherTakenName]]

| I recently undid an edit that bought up Pushy Boos. These are the Boos that in [[New Super Mario Bros. 2]] push the wall. The editor though does a have a point that they are different, but I'm not sure whether they are seperate Boos, or just ones pushing a wall and whether a page needs to be created for them, or just a mention in the article. Thoughts? {{User|Yoshi876}} | | I recently undid an edit that bought up Pushy Boos. These are the Boos that in [[New Super Mario Bros. 2]] push the wall. | == Is it possible to defeat a boo with Tanooki Suit in SMB3? ==
| |
|
| |
| I notice the following sentence: <br>
| |
| ''Boos are unable to be defeated unless the two are equipped with a Hammer Suit, Koopa shell, Tanooki Suit, or Starman.''<br>
| |
| <br>
| |
| I am a veteran of Super Mario Brothers 3 for 15 years. In my practice, a Tanooki Suit cannot defeat a boo, even if turning into a statue. <br>
| |
| Hope someone will validate my opinion.

| ==Images==
| |
| This article has way to many images and I think that we should move some to the gallery.

| :That's true. The sections that strike me with image clutter are the Paper Mario sections and Mario Party sections, so if anyone wants to get started, those two sections are prime offenders. {{User:Bazooka Mario/sig}} 15:51, 21 June 2015 (EDT)
| |
| ::I don't really see where you're coming from. Frankly, there are a lot of sections that are ''missing'' images. A lot of the clutter just has to do with using <nowiki>{{br}}</nowiki> (and its derivatives) properly. The PM section could do with some clean-up, but that's par for the course with the infoboxes; I'd support moving some of them to the profiles and statistics page, [[List of Koopa Troopa profiles and statistics|as was done with Koopa Troopa]], but I think the article having too many images is an exaggeration. {{User:Time Turner/sig}}
| |
| :::Well, I guess I was wording it incorrectly. Having too many images doesn't mean there isn't image clutter. Anyway, it looks better, but there are still sections that doesn't need images (''Brawl'', ''Mario Sports Mix'', and a few others. I really hate those ''Paper Mario''/''Mario & Luigi'' infoboxes in recurring species articles, so I'd support moving all of the blasted things into profiles and statistics, but they look horrendous in that page too. -_- {{User:Bazooka Mario/sig}} 14:58, 22 June 2015 (EDT)

| == Immortal? ==
| |
|
| |
| In ''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]'', if Mario chooses the wrong answer when asked by the [[Creepy Steeple Boo]], he will say this:
| |
| {|
| |
| |
| |
| Too bad, <mark>foolish mortal</mark>...
| |
| The correct answer was 200...
| |
|
| |
| But we'll send you home with
| |
| this parting gift...
| |
| |}
| |
| Would this imply that Boos are immortal? —{{User:A gossip-loving Toad/sig}} 04:47, 28 August 2016 (EDT)
| |
| :The term "foolish mortal" is kind of a cliche. Sometimes things that aren't immortal at all and just more powerful use the term. I don't think we should go very in-depth on this, but maybe it'll warrant a mention.

| |
| ::There are actually several instances that refer to Boos being immortal. Take this quote from ''Super Mario 64'' for example: '''"Ghosts... ...don't... ...DIE!"''' Maybe there is more to this... But then again, that one Goomba at the start of ''Super Mario Bros.'' keeps coming back. And Mario. And Bowser. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 21:07, 7 December 2016 (EST)

| Is Boo's laugh in the game ''[[Super Mario 64]]'' really a sped-up version of [[Bowser]]'s laugh?

| If so, how can you tell?

| |
| I think Boo's description in his Mario Tennis entries should give some details about him being a tricky character (Curved Slices and Topspins, mostly the former) and maybe how to determine the curve. [[User:Zeckemyro|Zeckemyro ~]] ([[User talk:Zeckemyro|talk]]) 19:01, 15 July 2018 (EDT)
