:::There's also the Mario Kart series Blooper item, but that's still far from "almost every game". Also, no? Cheep Cheeps don't fly in those games. They jump in Mario Maker and flop around on land in Paper Mario. That said, I think a split could make sense. Just because the ability to fly is adopted by regular Bloopers in some games doesn't mean otherwise, I'd say. Many games have Lakitus with fishing poles, but Fishin' Lakitus are still a different thing. And those don't even have a color difference to distinguish them.
