:Tough to say. While it is a mini-boss, it's also optional. I'd still say so, though. <span style="font-family:Kunstler Script; color:#063;"><font size="5">#050ayoshi</font></span> TC@ <span class="plainlinks">http://www.mariowiki.com/images/2/24/Wayoshisig.png</span> 17:52, 17 October 2006 (EDT)

:::That's simply not how it works. The reason why we advocate splitting large galleries or large lists is exactly because dividing this information is what helps. Lumping them all into one mega article means that computers need to load more elements at the same time, which is bad if you want to decrease load times. 10:38, 17 July 2017 (EDT)

::::::That was done due to statistical differences in several Superstar Saga enemies, however, and isn't consistent across the board (see the black and blue Snifits in Super Mario RPG). I'm not seeing the comparison to Big Boo/Atomic Boo. That, and for all we know, this could soon be an outdated example if the remake addresses it. :::Right, I meant more, because Double Dash's King Teresa's design was (probably) originally meant for Boss Teresa, and it stuck, the current design(s?) of King Boo is pretty much a blend between the two. But they're still officially different characters (or they were at the time of 64DS's release at least), unlike Ukiki, so it doesn't really matter. So, Pia claims that this slot machine spinner is the same guy as the three time appearing spook from 64. What about the Encyclopedia Super Mario Bros that says that the enemies are made from Bowser Jr's. Magic Paintbrush, then? == King boo? ==
You see: king boo is shown to be larger than other boos and is similar to big boos In many ways:
1) super mario 64 ds: king boo has the same model as big boo, but has a crown.
2)super princess peach: before the king boo boss fight starts, he starts off as a large boo with no crown, possibly the same size as big boos
3) super mario bros wonder: king boo is shown to be  a giangantic boo king, almost the same size as boohemoth
Now I know you might start asking about the Luigi's mansion thing were king boo isn't big at all and probably think I'm mistaken, and If you disagree with me, than I understand, just think about what I said. 85.255.236.231 14:39, September 3, 2024 (EDT)
Atomic Boo name in Super Mario Galaxy
talk
This is a slight follow-up to my recent Super Mario RPG name proposal. Currently we're using the name "Atomic Boo" in regards to Super Mario Galaxy with the clear reasoning being that Super Paper Mario used that name and was the latest game to use any name for the species. Given that the name "Atomic Boo" has never been used outside of the Paper Mario games and there are even games that came between Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Super Paper Mario that used the name "Big Boo" (an example being Super Princess Peach which uses the name in-game), I really think we can use discretion for this case and call them "Big Boo" for Super Mario Galaxy as well. 19:57, January 17, 2025 (EST)
:The rationale for Super Mario Galaxys "Atomic Boo" is because it was the most recent in-game name at the time, with Super Paper Mario having released just earlier that year (also, to a lesser extent, because Mega Boo was merged with the Big Boo article at the time and the names helped differentiate them). However, I've been thinking that maybe a better way to handle recent names is by doing it on a per-series basis rather than blanket recency. For instance, treating "Lava Bubble" as the most recent name for that enemy in the Super Mario series ever since Super Mario Worlds Mario Mania guide would make the Super Mario series sections more consistent, rather than jump "Podoboo" around because of some other games in the franchise. Another example, there's already a precedent with this in things like the Yoshi's Island DS guides, which carry over many names from Yoshi's Island games/guides (e.g. Para-Koopa, Flopsy Fish...) - just apply them to the broader Yoshi's Island series, like how Kaboomba and Piro Dangle are used over Cannon and Spark for Yoshi's New Island. Doing recent names on a per-series basis would alleviate issues like Podoboo and Big Boo and patch over one raised here (plus, with Super Mario RPG as its own series...). Also: we already do this with other media and other franchises like the Mario-franchise cameos in The Legend of Zelda franchise, so it would just be applying that idea within the Super Mario franchise games. LinkTheLefty (talk) 07:33, January 18, 2025 (EST)
:::Per-series seems suitable for this case. 20:24, January 19, 2025 (EST)
