So the name comes from the [[list of costumes in Yoshi's Crafted World|costume]] referred to as "Beach Burt" in English, but there are a few oddities. It is referred to in [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tBo2bOA0Tw&t=228s Japanese] as 「ドンブリセット」 (''Donburi Setto'', Burt Set). In context, "set" refers to some more elaborate costumes with more than one element to them; for example, the one referred to as "Raven" in [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6fc9YelNJs&t=216s English] is 「キューちゃんセット」 (''Kyūchan Setto'', Raven Set) in [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tBo2bOA0Tw&t=228s Japanese] because it comprises of the Raven and a moon. In this case, the beach/Burt/set comprises of the Burt and a swim ring. Further, the articles claim that Burt the Ball is a Beach Burt. There's nothing in the game to overtly suggest that as Burt the Ball is transformed from an inanimate, Burt-esque beach ball. Additionally, the boss fight enemy is internally known as <tt>BossDonburiMini</tt> (where the boss itself is <tt>BossDonburi</tt> and the enemy's swim ring is <tt>BossDonburiMiniUkiwa</tt> separately), suggesting that the enemy is a miniature version of the boss, not that the boss is an enlarged version of the enemy. Finally, both the boss and the enemy are located together in the <tt>/Game/Assets/Characters/Boss/BossDonburi</tt> folder. :::The Beach Burts are strictly tied to the boss fight too, spawning when the boss is hit. However due to how Crafted Worlds bosses work, there isn't much of a base species category for this boss to fall on. This classified as a "burt" and not a "beach burt" would be odd (though not the oddest thing since no other enemies are renamed based on the material they're made of). Due to how the rest of the costumes are named, I don't think it's unreasonable to categorize this boss as a Beach Burt or a large Beach Burt (but not a proper name), being a Burt enemy based on a beach ball, but bigger. As for file names, we shouldn't speculate too hard on why the enemies have just "mini" in their name and are compressed and packed into the same archive or put into the same folder. Was probably easier for developers to work with but it doesn't necessarily in-stone indicate the true "in-universe" relationship with these things. {{User:Mario/sig}} 14:13, November 25, 2023 (EST)
::::For me, the main thing that convinces me that these are regular Burts is the fact that the Raven costume also has its Japanese name ending in "set". There's also the French translation, which renders "Beach Burt" as "Burt at the beach", so the name "Beach Burt" probably just refers to it being depicted wearing a swim ring.
