:I've heard the Brooklyn area is a hot-spot for Italian-Americans. If that's true, that would answer your question.
You have a point.
This is confusing. Maybe his parents were born in Italy then move to brooklinite and some how ended up to the Mushroom Kingdom. Princess Grapes Butterfly 20:42, 26 January 2008 (EST)
This is late, but I feel like saying it: since we're considering all game guides official these days I guess that means he is from Brooklyn, then, regardless of whether you entertain the fan-theory that only the video games are true (no offense to anyone who does; your "personal canon" is your own decision).  Being a Brooklynite, according to the guide book means spending enough of your life in Brooklyn.  The whole "Mario comes from Brooklyn" concept may not have been made by Nintendo of Japan, but that doesn't make it any less official.  Nintendo had to approve of DiC and give them creative control before they could use the "Mario" license.  In classic Nintendo style, when the NoJ team got the idea to use Baby Mario (a character from the Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3, oh the irony!) in a game that took place in Mushroom World, they didn't let Mario's story get in their way, creating a possible plot hole without explaining if Mario traveled to the Real World and when.  The fact that Baby Mario had many adventures in Mushroom World doesn't mean he couldn't have moved to the real world, but then again, it doesn't matter for the purposes of this article.  I don't even know why this was brought up. 09:03, 4 August 2008 (EDT)
A little late, but...
I don't know when the article got featured, but the Sports games section is very unorganized. (There aren't even bullets) I'm working on a different article right now... sorry
:If I get a chance I'll work on it. 14:26, 4 August 2008 (EDT)
I also believe an interaction with other characters section needs to be added, but I will get to work on that as soon as I find the time.  White Knight
::Those sections should be considered icing on the cake: if you have fully expanded biography/sports/alternate media sections, they're really just a rehashing of what has already been said. 22:30, 17 September 2008 (EDT)
Yeah I guess you're right.  For example, the sections here say that Baby Mario and Yoshi have saved him three times, which was already stated in the article.  Besides, I really have got to work on the Luigi's Diary article when I have time for a major edit.  White Knight
Yoshi Touch & Go
Why is Yoshi Touch & Go not mentioned in this article? - <font color="#00CC00">Myles</font>
:Oops!  It should be, right after the Yoshi's Island 1 paragraph it should at least be mentioned at the end. 13:38, 17 August 2008 (EDT)
::First the sports section, now this; I think it might've been a bit too early to feature this one. :\

Error?
The brawl trophy info says that Baby Mario dosen't wear overall's, even though he is CLEARLY WEARING THEM in the trophy! is there something I'm missing, or is this incorrect?
This was a mistake made by Nintendo, the trivia section also states their mistake. Random User
Oh my god
How the hell did the article get erased? Turboo 20:11, 19 August 2009 (EDT)

Aren't these just ADORABLE! Of course these are bad quality and cannot be put on any pages but I want everyone to be on the lookout for these cute images. They are from the Furuta line of mini figures in Japan. You know the ones that come in little chocolate eggs. and btw i photoshopped these to make them look a tad bit better.

At the character stats thing at the bottom, the section of Mario Superstar Baseball has information about Mario Super Sluggers (I know this because I'm Australian and Mario Super Sluggers wasn't released there). Can someone please fix? Commander Code-8 08:24 5 April 2010 (UTC)
Don't worry, its been done. Commander Code-8

Twins?
From the Relationships section: "Baby Mario and Baby Luigi share a special bond as twin brothers". Is there any confirmation whatsoever they are twins? I mean, I know they both look the same age but Luigi has always been described as Mario's younger brother. It makes little sense for Baby Luigi to be the same age as Baby Mario. But if there's official confirmation by Nintendo then I guess it's another confusing scenario of the Marioverse. -- 10:42, 15 December 2016 (EST)
:Younger brother doesn't contradict with "twin" since Luigi can be technically younger by a few minutes (like my sister is). Additionally, official bios explicitly state that Mario and Luigi are twins, and this also includes the instruction booklet from Yoshi Touch & Go. And this is also shown directly during the Yoshi's Island games, where both emerge from the same pouch. The only conflicting information are in very old bios and in old external media such as Nintendo Comics System as far as I know. 10:56, 15 December 2016 (EST)
::Identical twin sister here, was described younger, even though my birth was 15 minutes apart. Like my twin said, it's not contradictory information to be both described as a twin and as a younger sibling. 11:07, 15 December 2016 (EST)
:::While I'm no twin myself, I have family and friends who are twins. There's an older and a younger twin, which is determined by the order of birth. Regardless, for the sake of context, we normally just say "twins" to describe them. "Older twin" and "younger twin" are additional, more descriptive terms. 12:28, 15 December 2016 (EST)

New voice?
Is Kevin Afghani gonna be Baby Mario's new voice? Or will they have to hire a different, slightly younger person (younger than Kevin Afghani) due to Charles Martinet retirement last August? Like Waluigi (who has yet to have a new voice). ˜˜˜˜Sunny12345
:We don't know yet until Baby Mario is in a new game. 22:28, January 3, 2024 (EST)
