In the Mario Galaxy trading cards ([http://www.enter-play.com/products/mariogalaxy_cards_01.html]), its says that Luma's name is 'Apricot Luma'? o.O And the game says it's just Luma. I think those trading cards don't want to confuse anyone with the Luma species. {{user:Mario jc/sig}}

This is the first page of [[Rosalina's Storybook]] in the Japanese version of ''Super Mario Galaxy'', where Luma's name is rendered as "星の子" but read as "チコ". ::I guess it's more likely to be a shortening of Japanese "小さな子" ''chiisana ko'', which means "little child". Coincidentally, [[wiktionary:chiko]] says that chiko in the Ladino language means "little" ''or'' "child".
