Airships (though not the classic Mario kind) feature pretty regularly in Donkey Kong-related games.  There's the unnamed zeppelin from Donkey Kong Land, The Flying Krock, the K. Kruizer III, and the King Kruiser IV.  Does it merit mention in this article?

:Not sure. We do cover articles from the Donkey Kong games, but I don't know to what extent. They may be better off referencing the Airships from the Donkey Kong Wiki. 21:47, 25 May 2016 (EDT)

:Those Airships are called Tiki Airships according to the Prima guide so those aren't the same Airships as seen in the Mario series. 21:52, 25 May 2016 (EDT)
::I've added a Donkey Kong series section which includes the appearances that you mentioned: it may need to be expanded.

The Rainbow Cruiser
Resemblance to a specific piece of SMB3 artwork due to wing oars (not exactly an original concept themselves) aside, the Rainbow Cruiser seems to be a very different occasionally-recurring distinct entity, and doesn't have any specific visible connection to Bowser. It should probably be split from this page now that it has a known specific name. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 21:40, March 14, 2019 (EDT)
:It is indeed very different from the SMB3 airship as the Rainbow Cruiser has no Bill Blasters or Cannons or Burners. 10:20, March 24, 2020
::For what it's worth, however, page 90 of Encyclopedia Super Mario Bros. refers to the ship as 「飛行船」 (hikōsen, "airship") in the description for Cruiser Crossing the Rainbow. LinkTheLefty (talk) 11:25, March 24, 2020 (EDT)
:::Are you sure that's not literal translation? 08:03, May 3, 2020 (EDT)
::::Airship is a ship that flies in the air. To me it fits the bill. 08:13, May 3, 2020 (EDT)
:::::This page also refers to it as an "Air Ship". LinkTheLefty (talk) 08:29, March 16, 2022 (EDT)
