| ''Super Mario World'' was shown off at the 1994 American Coin Machine Expo (ACME '94). A photo of it can be made out in the background of the April 1994 issue of ''Play Meter'' magazine.<ref>[https://archive.org/details/play-meter-volume-20-number-5-april-1994/Play%20Meter%20-%20Volume%2020%2C%20Number%205%20-%20April%201994%20%28Compressed%29/page/n79/mode/2up?q=mario ''Super Mario World'' at ACME '94]</ref> | | The only information known about ''Super Mario World'' comes from two flyers distributed by Fabtek, Inc. targeted at arcade franchise owners. |

| The game was listed in the Spring Buyer's Guide in ''Play Meter'' magazine in May 1994. The game (erroneously called ''Super Mario Bros.'') is described as follows: "[[Mario]] speaks to players in this colorful, animated game in which balls are thrown through holes on the backboard. Balls then go through an oscillating tube and roll down the playfield, passing through lanes with [[point]] values. Each hole has an assigned multiplier. Everyone scores points on the lanes even if the ball does not go through a hole."<ref>[https://archive.org/details/play-meter-volume-20-number-6-may-1994/Play%20Meter%20-%20Volume%2020%2C%20Number%206%20-%20May%201994%20%28Compressed%29/page/138/mode/2up?q=mario Flyer and description in ''Play Meter'']</ref>

| The game was seemingly not very popular, and only one photo is known to exist.<ref>Borp. (November 4, 2015). Retrieved August 20, 2019.</ref> The game was the 29th highest earning redemption game, according to a September 1995 issue of ''Play Meter''.<ref>[https://archive.org/details/play-meter-volume-21-number-10-september-1995/Play%20Meter%20-%20Volume%2021%2C%20Number%2010%20-%20September%201995%20%28Compressed%29/page/18/mode/2up?q=fabtek ''Play Meter'' Redemption Charts]</ref> Its release may have been affected by several key members of Fabtek leaving the company shortly after the ACME '94 show, including founder Frank Ballouz and national sales manager Drew Maniscalco. This was seemingly the last redemption game released by Fabtek.
