Stones, also called Jewels, are valuable collectibles found in the game Luigi's Mansion. There are three different colors of Stones, each with their own name:

Stones, also known as Jewels, are valuable collectibles found in Luigi's Mansion. They come in three color variations: Blue Stones (aka Blue Jewels) (500,000G each), Green Stones (aka Green Jewels) (800,000G each), and Red Stones (aka Red Jewels) (1,000,000G each). Ten of each color can be found in the mansion, totaling 23,000,000G. One more Green Stone was added to the Nintendo 3DS remake, making a new total of 23,800,000G. To find all the Stones, Luigi has to water all the plants he can find; examine a variety of objects such as buckets, gutters, and gold chandeliers; catch Speedy Spirits; and light up all the rooms in the mansion except for the third and Basement floor hallways. However, only five of each color can be found in the PAL version's Hidden Mansion as the majority of Speedy Spirits and Gold Mice drop Blue Diamonds instead. In the original version, when Luigi obtains a Stone, the sprite of him on the Game Boy Horror is his jumping sprite from the Super Mario All-Stars version of Super Mario Bros. Gems from Luigi's Mansions sequel, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, bear a resemblance to Stones, though they do not grant any gold.

*When Luigi obtains a Stone, the sprite of Luigi on the Game Boy Horror is Luigi's jumping sprite from Super Mario All-Stars: Super Mario Bros.
*Gemstones from Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon are similar to Stones, but they are more of a collectible instead of gold.
