Definitely taken from the Kirby series, [[Bowser]] steals the Star Rod from [[Star Haven]] at the beginning of [[Paper Mario]]. He uses it to grant all his wishes. [[Mario]] must save the 7 [[Star Spirits]] to deactivate the power of the Star Rod.
*[[Star Rod (Paper Mario)|Star Rod]], the item in ''[[Paper Mario]]'' that is used by the [[Star Spirits]] to grant wishes.
 
*[[Star Rod (Mario Party 8)|Star Rod]], a powerful scepter from ''[[Mario Party 8]]'' given to the [[Super Star]] of the [[Star Carnival]].
It was later seen in [[Supser Smash Brothers Melee]], as an attack item.

The Star Rod will also be [[Boo]] and [[Dry Bones]]' special orb in [[Mario Party 7]]. What it does is  not yet confirmed.
