Mario starts out near the locked door. He must go right and grab a Super Hammer to break the bricks in his way then get to the ladder. Then he must throw his Super Hammer up to the next floor then quickly climb the ladder to the next floor to get the Super Hammer back again to break the bricks on his way to the left, he must also break some bricks near the ladder so he has a way back down. He must then throw his Super Hammer and climb the second ladder up to the next platform to break some more bricks which leads to another Super Hammer which can be used if Mario loses the first Super Hammer or it runs out, then he must head over to the ladder then throw the Super Hammer up to the next platform then climb up the ladder to get it back. There are Sand Blocks on the right side that fall that leads back down but Mario must go left with the Super Hammer to break even more bricks that lead to the Key and break some more that lead to more sand blocks, after the Super Hammer is done Mario must grab the key and head either to the left or right over to the sand blocks to get back down then he must go to the opening where the bricks were that leads to the door, he must go through to get to the door to end the level.
