Ski Jumping is an Event class that only appears in the Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, and features events based around jumping from large rams on skis. The class features two events, Individual Large Hill and Team Large Hill. The similar event Ski Jumping LH appears in the Nintendo DS version, but it instead included in the Skiing class. The Ski Jumping Large Hill event that appears in Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games is also similar to events in the class, but is not included within a class at all.

Team Large Hill
This event is similar to Individual Large Hill except it is in a team of 4. All four characters try to combine for the best score.

Controls: Wii Version
Start by flicking the wii remote down. Twist the remote to balance before takeoff. Balance by moving the remote left and right. If the character goes way off balance, that takes away distance. To land, flick the remote down just before landing, to get the maximum points for the jump.

DS Version
In the DS version, it is referred as Ski Jumping LH, which is the exact same idea as the wii version except the name is different and there is no balancing before jumping. To boost start, touch and hold the screen on 2, and then stroke up to boost start. Jump by stroking up just before the edge of the hill. To balance, touch the two foot pads, then land by stroking down near the ground.
