During a trip to the park, [[Princess Peach|Princess Toadstool]] sees the doll in the toy store window and finds it cute. With her birthday arriving, [[Mario]] and [[Wario]] both aim to give the princess the doll, using trickery to get ahead of one another. However, [[Luigi]] buys the doll first. Their devices against one another backfire, almost ruining the princess's birthday.
