It is easily possible that you can be more than one or all of these types. I personally have about 50-100 good audio files (1-4 min) that could be uploaded, I created the media templates to use, and you can see some descriptions at [[Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix#Songs (Media)|DDR Mario Mix]] (they could be improved). However, someone could be a specialist in one area &ndash; you don't have to go through converting to .OGG and uploading to help in this PipeProject. Let us know how you plan to contribute here.<br><span style="font-family:Kunstler Script; color:#006633;"><font size="5">'''[[User:Wayoshi|W]]'''ayoshi</font></span><small> ( [[User talk:Wayoshi|T]]<tt>&middot;</tt>[[Special:Contributions/Wayoshi|C]]<tt>&middot;</tt>[[Special:Emailuser/Wayoshi|@]] )</small> 15:49, 20 September 2006 (EDT)

:Just in case you didn't know, VGmusic doesn't host the actual music; they are fans' interpretations, sequenced on a computer from listening to the music.  They are not always 100% accurate, so can they really be uploaded here as the actual music?{{User:Greenpickle/sig}} 14:21, 21 February 2008 (EST)

:Exactly. If you have plenty of songs from each, use <nowiki>{{tem|media-multiple}}</nowiki> and choose the best eight songs (SMW: level music, title music, boss music, etc.) (SMK: some popular course music, title, etc.) for each game, then create a new section titled Media (<tt><nowiki>==Media==</nowiki></tt>) and add the template with the appropriate variables (look closely at the templates ''after'' I edit them right now). Be sure everything is in .ogg format, I can't wait to see the songs. <span style="font-family:Kunstler Script; color:#006633;"><font size="5">'''[[User:Wayoshi|W]]'''ayoshi</font></span><small> ( [[User talk:Wayoshi|T]]<tt>&middot;</tt>[[Special:Contributions/Wayoshi|C]]<tt>&middot;</tt>[[Special:Emailuser/Wayoshi|@]] )</small> 20:09, 26 September 2006 (EDT)

==Audio in pages==
I've noticed that the media template seems only to provide a link to the OGG file itself; is there no extension installed so that streaming on the page is available, like it is [http://pikmin.wikia.com/wiki/Image:Hoard.ogg here]?  Oh, and isn't the whole 1-2 minutes long audio tracks a contradiction of the copyright notice on their description pages?{{User:Greenpickle/sig}}
Oh, seems this is dead.{{User:Greenpickle/sig}}
== online-Convert ==
For those who don't feel like downloading any converters, head to online-convert.com. Note this does not support .midi files.
Also MFGG has LOADS of .OGGs that we can use. {{User:SKmarioman/sig}}
== VGMusic MIDIs ==
<s>There is a way to convert MIDI to OGG without even DOWNLOADING anything. First go to [http://www.hamienet.com/midi2mp3 Hamienet.com] to convert to MP3, then go to [http://audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-ogg online-convert] to convert the MP3 to OGG.</s> {{User:SKmarioman/sig}}
:But that was obviously useless because like the page says, no fan made MIDIs. {{User:SKmarioman/sig}}
==No speedruns==
<blockquote>Upload as many ''official Nintendo videos'' (for the time being no fan-made videos and definitely '''no speed runs''')</blockquote>[[:File:SMB W1-1.ogg|What]] [[:File:SM64 BoB BBootS.ogg|to]] [[:File:SMW YI2.ogg|do,]] [[:File:SMAS SMB2 W1-1.ogg|I've]] [[:File:SMW2 W1-1.ogg|uploaded]] [[:File:SMB2 W1-1.ogg|alot]] [[:File:NSMB W1-1.ogg|already…]] {{User:SWFlash/Sig}}
== In-game videos ==
If there are official Nintendo-made videos hidden in a game, for example, Hint Movies from ''[[New Super Mario Bros. Wii]]'', is it okay to record and upload them as long as they're not speed runs? {{User:SKmarioman/sig}}
