#REDIRECT Para-Beetle

Parabeetles are flying beetles that first appeared in Super Mario Bros. 3. Mario and Luigi can hop on their back for a ride allowing him to traverse air levels. They are found only in Sky Land's level 5-6. Jumping on a stationary Parabeetle will slightly lower it, though it will gradually rise upwards again. The mobile Parabeetles soar quick through the skies, making it harder for them plumber to cross.

They reappear in their modern blue shelled form in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

*HP: 5
*Attack: 3
*Defense: 4
*Locations: Pirate's Grotto, Pit of 100 Trials (Floor 31-39)
*Tattle Number: 33
*Tattle Log: A Buzzy with wings and high Defense. It flies in the air,<br>but it'll come down if you stomp on it.
*Tattle: That's a Parabuzzy. A Buzzy Beetle with wings. Max HP is 5, Attack is 3, and Defense is 4. I guess those stats are just like a Buzzy. Fire and explosions seem to have no effect, so don't bother, OK? If you flip it over, its Defense goes down to 0, so jump on it first.
