Together with the [[Paper Macho Spike Outlaw]] and the [[Paper Macho Goomba Outlaw]], this enemy tries to stop Mario from advancing to the second floor of the theater. To defeat the enemy, the player must press {{button|switch|a}} as soon as they see "Fire!" The Paper Macho Snifit Outlaw is the strongest of the three enemies on this floor.
