The '''Paon Corporation, Ltd.''' is a Japanese video game company. It was founded on January 20, 1999. It became a substantial company following the departure of [[Rare]] from [[Nintendo]].


Following the departure of [[Rare Ltd.|Rare]] from [[Nintendo]], Paon worked on some games in the [[Donkey Kong (franchise)|''Donkey Kong'' franchise]] in the 2000s, developing the ''[[DK (series)|DK]]'' series (''[[DK: King of Swing]]'' and ''[[DK: Jungle Climber]]'') and ''[[Donkey Kong Barrel Blast]]'' alongside [[Nintendo Software Planning & Development#Group No.4|Nintendo SPD Group No.4]]. Paon also co-developed ''[[Mario & Luigi: Dream Team]]'' alongside [[AlphaDream]], and assisted in the development of ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]''.
In Rare's absence, rights to work and build upon the ''[[Donkey Kong (series)|Donkey Kong series]]'' were given to Paon. Thus far, they have presented fans with games such as ''[[DK: King of Swing]]'', ''[[DK: Jungle Climber]]'', and ''[[Donkey Kong Barrel Blast]]''.
