'''Palkia''' is a legendary [[Pokémon]] featured as the mascot of ''Pokémon Pearl''. Palkia is also seen in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]'', in the unlockable stage [[Spear Pillar]], along with [[Dialga]] and [[Cresselia]] (although never in the same battle on the stage). The stage lights will turn to a pinkish color when Palkia is about to appear. Palkia can cause the stage to crumble and collapse, fire a strong energy beam across the cavern section of the stage, and flip the stage upside down using its' signature move Spacial Rend. It can also use this ability to reverse left and right, which also swaps the controller buttons that need to be pressed to go in the desired direction. Palkia may also reduce the gravity of the stage temporarily, allowing all players to jump higher and stay airborne longer. These powers are based on Palkia's control over space. Palkia may sometimes jump off its' platform and on to the stage, causing damage to players who come into contact with it. This particular move can also be used by Dialga.

''A Spatial Pokémon. In the Sinnoh region, this Pokémon has been revered for many generations, much like Dialga. Dialga warps time, but Palkia has control over space. It lives between parallel dimensions and is known for its power, rumored to be able to warp space. It can use Spatial Rend to rip through the very space an enemy resides in, damaging the foe at the same time.''
