Melee]]'' as enemies in the [[Underground Maze]] in Adventure Mode, taking their appearance from ''[[ZeldaWiki:The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time|The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time]]''. They attack by spitting rocks at the fighters. They also appear during Versus Mode hidden in carrier items along with [[ReDead]]s, [[Goomba]]s, and other creatures found in Adventure Mode, although this occurrence is rare. Octoroks return as enemies in the Smash Run mode of ''[[Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS]]''. They take their appearance from ''[[zeldawiki:The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword|The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword]]'' and attack by spitting rocks at the fighters. While hiding in the ground they cannot be damaged using any attacks, though they can still be grabbed and thrown.

They make cameo appearances in [[The Legend of Zelda (WarioWare: Twisted!)|The Legend of Zelda]] [[microgame]] from ''[[WarioWare: Twisted!]]'', where they shoot at [[Link]]. In ''[[Super Mario-Kun]]'', they make a cameo in an issue as seen in this [[:File:Octorok SuperMarioKun 4.jpg|scan]].
