''My Mario Timeline'' allowed the user to enter a birth date anywhere from 1900 to 2024, and would then show the user their age when certain [[Super Mario (franchise)|Super Mario]] games in the were released, beginning with ''Super Mario Bros.'' in 1987 and ending with [[New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe]] in 2019. If the user entered a birth date that took place either prior to the first game or after the last game, the "Your Timeline Starts Here!" marker would be at the corresponding year. If the user chooses a birth date that is before the release of the first game, the marker will be labeled accordingly based off of the birth date they chose, yet will immediately skip ahead to the release of ''Super Mario Bros.'' afterward. If the user chooses a birth date that is after the last game, the marker will be placed accordingly, yet the timeline will end at the marker. If the user's birth date is simply sometime after the release of the first game, the marker will be placed at whatever place on the timeline the user specified, and each game released prior would be marked as however many "Years Older Than You!". As the program was released on the Nintendo UK website, the games use their European release dates. |
