It contains the musical score for Symphony No. 9, Ludwig van Beethoven's final complete symphony. It was stolen by Bowser, who traveled back in time to Vienna in order to add it to his collection of historical artifacts. Mario later takes it from Bowser's collection and travels back in time himself to return it. As Mario does not know that the music belongs to Ludwig, he asks the locals about the item and the general area. A couple of people recognize the music as having been written by Ludwig, and once Mario has gathered enough information, he can give it to Ludwig in the Symphony Hall. As he was previously missing his score, he thanks Mario, graciously accepts it, and begins to conduct the orchestra. | ||
