| Before entering Morton's Wood Door Hysteria Hotel, Mario notices how peaceful it looks; however, [[Luigi]] warns him that the appearances are deceiving when [[Bowser's Minions|Koopa]]s are around. Mario infiltrates the hotel by leaping from Luigi's back onto one of the hotel's windows. Throughout the hotel's stages, Mario encounters a large number of [[Goomba]]s, Koopas and [[Wiggler]]s.
