The Microphone is a character in Donkey Kong 64. It is a sentient microphone with blue eyes, a mustache, and a boxing referee's tuxedo. In the final boss fight against K. Rool - a boxing match between him and all five playable Kongs - the Microphone serves as the ring announcer in between rounds, giving very dramatic descriptions for each Kong. It moves around by hopping.
