The '''Micro Zone''' is one of the areas in ''[[Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins]]''.  It features four stages and one hidden stage. However, including the hidden stage, only 3 stages are needed to complete the area. The Micro Zone is usually considered to be one of the easiest Worlds in ''Mario Land 2'', apart from the [[Tree Zone]].

Micro Zone revolves around a house. The twist is that Mario is shrunk to ant-size.  Stage 1 features the outside and inside of an anthill, and all the enemies in it are ants. Stage 2 takes place in the plumbing of the house, and features enemies such as [[Cheep-Cheep|Cheep-Cheeps]] and [[Blurp|Blurps]]. Stage 3 takes place in the kitchen and fireplace, featuring enemies from the earlier two stages, plus ant-sized [[Goomba|Goombas]]. Stage 4 takes place in the attic.  The boss of Stage 4 is a rat-unicorn creature. The hidden stage, accessed from Stage 1, takes place in the sky near the attic.

Although the name of the area is "Micro Zone" a translation error made the American version called "Macro Zone." Both actually make sense, since Micro means Mario is very small and Macro means everything else is very big.
