'''Metal Luigi''' is the metal counterpart to [[Luigi]]. In ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'', he appears in Adventure Mode, alongside [[Metal Mario]] once the player has unlocked Luigi. Metal Luigi makes the battle harder, because instead of battling one iron brother, the player has to battle two, who gang up on the player. Like [[Mario]]'s metal counterpart, Metal Luigi is heavier than the normal Luigi. Luigi can also become Metal Luigi in any battle, by grabbing a metal box. 
Metal Luigi also appears in some ''[[Mario Party]]'' games. When Luigi uses a [[Metal Mushroom|Metal 'Shroom]] item, he becomes invincible to rivals' traps on the board for 1 turn.
