#Mario This article, ever since it has been featured, has always been in my skeptical crosshairs. This article does meet every requirement, but beyond that... that's it. It suffers nearly the same issues New Super Mario Bros. (a so-far succeeding unfeaturing nomination at the moment of this writing) has. As New Super Mario Bros., this article has an overreliance on lists, which is the bare minimum for complete information. The beginning part is not great with a story section cramped with images, the introductory paragraph being a bit too short. I guess the next few sections are all right, but "Yoshi's Moves", my god, the layout is just bad. Oh, and the babies, the powerups, and the machines are lumped with this. I think just a "gameplay" section can replace "Yoshi's Moves", but that's going to take some overhaul. "Items and Objects" is the fine example of "bare minimum" with minimal effort. Here's a blurb: Yoshi eggs are Yoshi's main weapon. Wow. And no information on Flowers OR Red Coins, essential collectibles. Brilliant. The latter part of this article is the worst part by far, though, offering little-to-no information for readers other than "Hey, this appeared in this game". If you have no idea what an enemy are called, looking it up via this "helpful" featured article is a guessing click game. The "Worlds and Levels" section is handled in the bare minimum fashion as well and offers detailed, informative writing as "[World 1] is a plain and serves as an introductory world." The Staff empty section is handled in the most lazy way that our own policy discourages it. Finally, the lack of a reception section, much less, a lengthy one, not only bolsters its bareness, but it's incomplete as well. Overall, this article is only decent at best, but it's still a bleh. Definitely not featured article material.

#Ninelevendo Things like the babies section are better, but the whole article needs an overhaul. Per Mario.

#Yoshi876 I have solved all the issues in the nomination, all the enemies are in a table so people can find what enemy they're looking for (Dashbot is adding the last sprites so those missing is not an issue), controls and gameplay have been merged, I feel as the babies, morphs and transportation are gameplay mechanics they belong in that section. A reception section has now been added. The only possible problem is the worlds section, but looking through other FAs it offers more information than those ones, the only thing that could improve it is structuring it like the one in Super Mario 3D World, however it not being structured like that is not enough of a reason to warrant this article's unfeaturing.

Well. Looks like I now actually have a time limit to finish this up. Yoshi876
:Eh, Yoshi876, it's not quite done. The reception and gameplay section need more details. I've added information on star power, but there should be general gameplay information such as eggs, how eggs spawn. Also, items need to be more organized, not alphabetically, but type of item; e.g. eggs, coins, blocks, miscellaneous items (alphabetically). Finally, the table is still under construction, but since that will be handled soon, I'll overlook that. But I agree, it's in much better shape now. 17:05, 7 September 2014 (EDT)
::It's certainly better, but I have trouble overlooking the level section. - 17:07, 7 September 2014 (EDT)
:::Other than shoving it into a table, which I tried but it looked hideous, there is nothing that can be done on it. It is fine how it is. Yoshi876
::::I'm fine with it, too. There's no need to convert the levels section into a list, although if you want to do it (and complete it timely), you're all up to it. But it's not integral to the status of this article. 17:22, 11 September 2014 (EDT)
The final sprites have been added in, and your other issues I believe have been done to your satisfaction. Yoshi876
