==''Super Mario'' Opera==
In May of 2005, a group at the California Institute of the Arts performed the first act of an opera based on Super Mario Bros. The first act began with the wedding of Mario and Peach, which is disrupted by Bowser and the Koopas.  Peach is carried away, and Mario must search for her.
