In the [[Exploration Tour (2023)|2023 Exploration Tour]], Piranha Plant Cove was one of the two signature courses of the tour, the other being [[Piranha Plant Cove 2]]. It appeared as the first course in the [[King Bob-omb Cup]] and the location of the bonus challenges in the [[Nabbit Cup]] and the [[Baby Daisy Cup]]. Its R/T variant appeared as the third course in the [[Shy Guy Cup]], its T variant appeared as the first course in the [[Pink Gold Peach Cup]], and its R variant appeared as the second course in the [[Toadette Cup]].
