In the first area, the player must navigate a maze of [[Bob-omb Block]]s and [[Warp Box]]es while using [[Bob-omb]]s to destroy the blocks around the area. Eventually, they can activate the blue Warp Box and reach the key, then warp back to the locked door with a yellow Warp Box to proceed.

In the second area, the player must drop the carryable spring from a red platform by activating the blue [[Color Switch]], then float it over a nearby wall by toggling some more [[Flower Fan]]s. After toggling the red Color Switch to drop in the carryable spring from the blue platform, the player can carry the spring to the end and jump towards the Mini-Mario.
