| In April 2005, Konami became the controlling shareholder of [[Hudson Soft]], which, at the time, developed the {{id|MP|series|a}} for [[Nintendo]]. In April 2011, Konami acquired the rest of Hudson, making Hudson a subsidiary of Konami. On March 1, 2012, Hudson merged with Konami Digital Entertainment, Konami's flagship subsidiary and Hudson's sister company, with the latter ending up as the surviving entity.
