The Primordial Goo is one of the five types of boss ghosts encountered in the ScareScraper in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. One of them may be randomly found on every floor that is a multiple of five, barring the top floor.

Appearance[edit]

The Primordial Goo looks like a large, yellow Creeper. There are several different variations of Primordial Goos, but they all attack the same.

Abilities[edit]

The Primordial Goo primarily attacks like a normal Creeper. It will begin as a puddle on the floor and either the Poltergust 5000's Blow or Vacuum function or the Dark-Light Device must be used on it so it takes a solid form. While the Primordial Goo is being vacuumed, it will try to escape.

If a Power Surge is used on it, a purple drop of goo will be flung from its body and form a large Creeper right below the Luigi that used the Power Surge. If the player does not react in time, they will be caught inside the newly-formed Creeper. Just like any other Creeper enemy, if players get too close to the Primordial Goo, they will be helplessly trapped inside its body as they take damage.

Slammers and Sneakers will aid the Primordial Goo in battle, as well as the Creepers created by the boss. On the Expert difficulty or Endless mode, the Slammers are replaced with Strong Sneakers.

If the Luigis don't unleash a Power Surge, the risk of getting trapped inside the new Creeper will be low, but they need to dodge attacks by other ghosts. In order to defeat it, the players must decide when to use the Power Surge.
