After the Bros. defeat the Swiggler at the Vim Factory, Kamek and Baby Bowser arrive to steal the Cobalt Star Shard the Bros. had taken from their castle, as well as the second one obtained from the Swiggler. They proceed to escape to Yoshi's Island, and the Bros. give chase. On the island, Kamek is reduced to running errands for Baby Bowser, including stealing Yoshi Cookies for him. When the Bros. attempt to reach the island, Kamek uses his magic powers to create fires to impede their progress up the cliff. In a last-ditch attempt to stop the Bros., Kamek fights them directly. | After the Bros. defeat the Swiggler at the Vim Factory, Kamek and Baby Bowser arrive to steal the Cobalt Star Shard the Bros. had taken from their castle, as well as the second one obtained from the Swiggler. In battle, Kamek is able to fly on his broom, and toss spike balls from above that can be countered with the Hammer. During this attack, he may accidentally toss a Mushroom that can heal the Bros. Kamek can also split up into 5 duplicates of himself, which only have 1HP each, and are almost indistinguishable from the real one. At a certain point in the battle, Kamek will fall off his broom and attack from the ground. He now uses a fireball attack that can be countered with the Hammer. Doing so will cause the fireball to hit Kamek and set him on fire; after which, he will charge at the Bro. he meant to shoot the fireball at in a state of panic. This can also be countered by the Hammer. Kamek sports an apron while on Yoshi's Island, though he uses it to store important items such as his scepter and broom, and is never shown performing such tasks as cooking or cleaning. Kamek's role as a parental figure is a primary source of comic relief whenever he appears; he often has to perform duties similar to those of a normal parent, but twisted to fit with Bowser's need for villainy (for instance, getting Baby Bowser "evil milk" from "an evil cow"). | Kamek sports an apron while on Yoshi's Island, though he uses it to store important items such as his scepter and broom, and is never shown performing such tasks as cooking or cleaning.
