Bowser is the main antagonist of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. In the intro, Bowser steals a Wonder Flower from the Flower Kingdom, giving him the ability to merge with Prince Florian's castle and his Koopa Clown Car to become Castle Bowser, a powerful floating fortress bearing his face. In the level The Final Battle! Bowser's Rage Stage, if Peach is chosen for this level, Bowser will call Peach his beloved, shocking her, and if the Invisibility badge is used, Bowser claims that the player characters are still visible to him. The final boss theme used while fighting Bowser is an arrangement of his battle theme from Super Mario 64. | Bowser is the main antagonist of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. In battle, Bowser uses the head on the top of his castle to attack Mario. It attacks by using its hands to smash the heroes and breathing fireballs that look like a cross between Piranha Plants and music notes. The floor also rises every eight beats; Mario can jump when it rises to increase his jump height. To defeat the monster, he has to attack the button at the base of the beast. After one hit, the battle progresses to the next phase, where castle head's hands smash down onto the stage. The hands can be jumped into before their attack, in which case they are neutralized. The head of the boss then comes back into the fight, whereupon it must be attacked again. Upon taking the second hit, the head and hands retreat into the background and blow more Piranha Plant/note fireballs to one side, with those fireballs returning in the same rhythm. Mario can use the floor to his advantage in dodging the attack. The process then repeats, but with more hands, and the boss begins to use its hands to shield its weak spot. On the third loop of this pattern, it will throw Spike Balls that look like disco balls onto the stage. After the sixth hit to its button, the structure that the boss is wearing on top of its head is destroyed, revealing a second button. More platforms appear to help Mario climb on top of the monster and jump onto the button, destroying it. | |||
