| This tutorial first told you to create User:Username/sig and then told you to put "<nowiki>{{User:Username/Sig}}</nowiki>" in your preferences page. That doesn't work : it should been told to put "<nowiki>{{User:Username/sig}}</nowiki>". It made me create User:Banon/Sig (with the uppercase). {{User:Banon/sig}}
