There is a [[Mii]] or [[Koopa Troopa]] at a vending machine, attempting to get a [[Penguin]] doll, then the camera moves right to the two other vending machines. The four players arrive at the scene and are excited to play. The solo player takes the machine on the left, and the trio takes the one on the right.

==Controls==
Both the solo player and the trio hold the Wii control vertically. They must tilt to controller left or right to move his/her basket.

==Gameplay==
The solo player has a large basket, and the trio have three small baskets, one each. They must move their baskets to grab coins and avoid spiny shells. If a player catches a shell, he/she will be unable to move for a short time. There is no winning or losing at this game (unless no coins were caught).

==Ending==
At the end of the mini-game, all the players does a winning pose (or slumps in disappointment if no coins were collected) and the coins they collected are added to their inventory.
