Like Warudeijī from the same volume of the Kodansha adaptation of ''[[Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins]]'', it's an evil alter ego of an existing character. I'm using the same argument as the one from my [[Talk:Princess Daisy#Split Warudeijī from Daisy|Warudeijī proposal]], this character should see a split since Bowser's alter egos from the same [[Super Mario (Kodansha manga)|manga series]] have separate articles from [[Bowser]]. They have the same Japanese name as [[Waluigi]] (even the exact same characters), so their name could be Waluigi (''X'') given precedence of directly translating some Japanese names that lack official English romanization or Waruīji (with or without an identifier) if going by [[Mekkakuppa]].

Do we actually use nested parentheses in identifiers? Shouldn't ''all'' options be "Waruīji (identifier)" (and the "Waruīji" one without an identifier be a redirect to [[Waluigi|THE Waluigi]]) because this evil version of Luigi has no official English name? I mean, [[Talk:Princess Daisy#Split Warudeijī from Daisy|your other proposal]] calls the evil Daisy "Warudeijī" instead of "Warudaisy", so uh... {{User:Arend/sig}} 11:45, January 17, 2025 (EST)

Not to pile on or anything but Maruigi is right. The katakana used for both names is the exact same which is what I poorly tried to explain in the proposal explanation. Also, if the Japanese name gets used, then there will not be a need for an identifier since you'd be typing different characters to get to the "KC Waluigi". :But as I said before, the thing is that evil Luigi Waruīji ''doesn't have an '''official''' English name or romanization''. LinkTheLefty already pointed out [[Mekakuppa]] as an example of this, who isn't called something like "Mechakoopa (Super Mario-kun)" despite its Japanese name being the exact same as [[Mechakoopa]], ''because there's no English or Romanized name for Mekakuppa''. ::But Mekakuppa's case is semi-different, since it's technically intended as "Mecha-Bowser", but that's not the point. We do directly... "translate" pre-existing names (see [[Jackie]]), despite never being an official Romanization for them, but since it derives from a English name... Or see [[Luigi Kong]], and not "{{fake link|Ruīji Kongu}}". Actually, thinking about it: this doesn't need an identifier. The MPT's Warupeach is just Beta content, never released, therefore, not covered in her own page. Like we don't have a [[List of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest pre-release and unused content#Rare Witch Project Preview and German strategy guide|Mr. X]], the ghost pirate Kremling, page, therefor his [[Mr. X|namesake]] from the ''[[Saturday Supercade]]'' doesn't need an identifier. {{User:Mariuigi_Khed/sig}} 18:38, January 17, 2025 (EST)
